Description

Evaluates procurement methods and applies most effective negotiating techniques based on the situation. Works with other department process owners to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve productivity, cost, quality and service. Manage and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement. Lead the supplier market analysis and ensure supplier qualification for RFQ's Lead a team of direct and matrixed procurement professionals motivating them to achieve the supply chain department metrics. Facilitate and execute cost reduction projects. Lead negotiations for site-specific projects. Evaluate cost reduction projects which are developed by colleagues. Assist other department process owners (Engineering, Production, Operations, and Finance) in identifying and prioritizing opportunities to improve productivity, cost, quality and service throughout the external supply chain. Assure that materials are procured at the lowest total cost, per specifications, in an efficient manner and delivered on time. Evaluates procurement methods and recommends/implements new procedures, strategies, and /or suppliers. Led Cost-Out events. Manage and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement. Ensure compliance to all purchasing policies and exhibit excellent Ethical behavior. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Preferred Qualifications: A Master in Business Administration, Finance or Productivity. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project management. Proficient in Project Management methodologies. Knowledge on legal contracts negotiations and risk management Excellent communication skills are a must (both Spanish & English) Organized, dynamic, proactive, team leadership & process driven but pragmatic Able to achieve results via Influence Must be able to achieve goals by working collaboratively and cross-functionally Must be able to travel on business up to 10% of the time" We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
