Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Shift Supervisor Maintenance for Cape Lambert to supervise a skilled maintenance team to deliver shut down planned preventative maintenance.
Our port facilities consist of four shipping terminals located on the Pilbara coast at Dampier and Cape Lambert which form an essential part of our logistics process. Each terminal has facilities for train unloading, iron ore stockpiling, product blending and ship loading.
You will be an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviours, practices and processes, whilst providing leadership, development and support to your team. This role is a great opportunity to bring your knowledge and expertise to a dynamic site and further your career aspirations.

Working an even time roster and reporting to the Superintendent Shift Maintenance, you will be:

  • Leading a team to execute work as planned on time to deliver availability and reliability to Port assets.
  • Communicating and liaising with the team of mechanical maintainers, superintendent, planners, electrical teams and contractors.
  • Providing support regarding HSEQ workplace policies procedures and critical risk monitoring.
  • Leading and developing tradespeople and apprentices to productively deliver a high quality of work.
  • Contributing to the HSE system and increase awareness to enable an injury free and environmentally responsible workplace
  • Performance management of the team including training and, career development
  • Identifying and participating in continuous improvement projects which including cost saving, reliability and production efficiency projects
