Job overview and responsibilities The Supervisor is responsible for helping the Move Team Mgr. with the management of the Move team employees and operation and maintains current understanding of the scope of work for move team operations. Develop standard operating procedures for the safe efficient execution of all move team responsibilities. Hiring/ Training Move Team employees and also responsible for maintaining employee skills in accordance with United Airline policies. Responsible for safety, security, and regulatory compliance and training; ensures move team programs and initiatives comply with DOT, FAA, and corporate regulations including mandatory compliance training. Provides feedback and documentation to Move team Manager to support regularly scheduled performance reviews with employees to maintain expected performance levels. Collaborates with cross-divisional leadership to define and resolve operational problems or issues related to aircraft movement. Supervisor maintains current understanding of the scope of work for the move team operations Assign and rotate employees between different roles each day Data collection to show total moves and APU run times to present to Sr. Leadership Identify safety risk and produce a safety bulletin to correct hazards Safety, security and regulatory compliance and training Oversight for maintaining employee skills in accordance with United Airlines policies Mocha Audits Manages the oversight of employee training and intervenes as needed Ensures move team programs and initiatives comply with FAA, DOT, and corporate regulations Coordinates business with pertinent entities such as Ramp, MWAA, and UAX partners Completes performance reviews with employees related to preventing injuries, damage and GSE knowledge Collaborates with cross-divisional leadership to define and resolve operational problems or issues related to aircraft movement Knowledge with investigating Injuries, damage, GSAP etc Collaterals - Shift Bids, hiring of Overtime, vacation bid, Mocha's, training, GSE etc Qualifications What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications): • High school diploma, GED or equivalent education • Must have a valid state-issued drivers license • Able to hold a non-movement license from the airport, test required • 2+ years experience in Hub operations • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications): • Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, operations, logistics, or a related field of study • Operational leadership experience in a hub environment • Experience leading and influencing a team • RTS knowledge • Knowledge of ETA, frontline scheduler • SRA experience • Advanced Excel skills The base pay range for this role is $80,235.90 to $98,066.10. The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
