In this role, you will be responsible for the effective supervision and coordination of field crews, subcontractors, plant and equipment, ensuring substation construction and maintenance works are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards, while meeting contractual and commercial performance targets. You’ll play a key leadership role on site, driving a strong safety culture, supporting your team’s development, and maintaining excellent relationships with our client and other stakeholders. This role is predominantly Auckland‑based, providing stability while working on critical electricity infrastructure that supports the region. Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skill You will be a safety‑focused, hands‑on leader with strong technical expertise in substation environments. Comfortable working on live operational sites, you’ll bring proven experience coordinating crews and delivering work programmes efficiently while meeting client, safety, and quality expectations. * Hands‑on experience in electricity substation construction and/or maintenance within a transmission or distribution environment * National Certificate in Electricity Supply (Electrician) Level 4 or equivalent * Demonstrated experience leading and supervising field teams and subcontractors * Strong knowledge of regulatory, safety and industry compliance requirements * Sound planning, coordination and problem‑solving skills in a site‑based role * Clear communicator with the physical capability to work in varying site conditions   Me pēhea ki te tono | How to apply  If this sounds like the opportunity for you, click Apply Now to submit your application.
