Documentation must be assessed in its operational context rather than reviewed only for visual completeness.The expert will use practical experience to identify unrealistic records, process gaps, and data-quality concerns while developing examples that represent routine activity and complex supply chain exceptions.Key Responsibilities

  • Examine packing lists, bills of lading, inventory registers, and supporting shipment documents.
  • Confirm that document fields are complete and consistent with the stated logistics scenario.
  • Check shipper, consignee, carrier, product, quantity, weight, package, and routing information.
  • Compare linked records and identify discrepancies between shipment and inventory data.
  • Detect missing references, duplicate entries, unusual values, and unsupported document changes.
  • Assess whether sample records follow common international logistics practices.
  • Review documentation for operational authenticity and relevant compliance considerations.
  • Create representative supply chain records for warehousing, transport, and distribution use cases.
  • Annotate examples to explain correct fields, relationships, controls, and document sequences.
  • Develop scenarios involving delays, shortages, damaged goods, split shipments, and inventory variance.
  • Map existing logistics workflows and highlight inefficient or unclear process steps.
  • Recommend changes that improve accuracy, traceability, handoffs, and processing time.
  • Explain how documentation errors may affect customs activity, stock control, billing, or delivery.
  • Evaluate supply chain datasets for correctness, practical relevance, and topic coverage.
