Tea Around Town Chicago is looking for self-sufficient, attentive, and hard working individuals to join our team of Supervisors. Individuals should be flexible with schedules, able to balance a few tasks at once, and provide clear and concise leadership to our teams of singing servers on board the tea bus. TopView has experienced rapid expansion over the past decade. Ambitious, agile, and competitive, we thrive in a fast paced environment. If you are a highly determined and resourceful professional, this is the right place for you! Supervisor Responsibilities: Coordinate daily schedules and ensure appropriate coverage for staff. Coordinate and confirm daily catering orders. Communicate the food predictions to the caterer Monday/Wednesday/Friday Ensure all materials needed for the day are sent with the Tea Bus operation. Provide relief where needed amongst staff. Maneuver to assist cover any call outs. Facilitate ticket scanning and customer boarding. Coaching and training as needed. Report any inventory/bus needs. Communicate daily operations in comprehensive reports Maintain a level of high standards to ensure a “WOW” experience. Requirements: 1 year previous leadership experience in the restaurant industry Ability to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays weekly during a 9 hour shift between 8:00am - 9:30pm Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience for guests. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of culinary terminology and food preparation techniques is beneficial Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
