We are seeking an experienced, passionate and creative Hospitality Supervisor to join our team at the 58th Street Country Club.
We are looking for an individual with experience in the high-end restaurant sector, or, experience in creative projects and hospitality. You will be passionate about hospitality and believe in our mission of bringing The Lost Estate’s immersive experiences to the widest audience possible.
As a hospitality supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the management of TLE’s guest experience teams, delivering both a safe and choreographed food service and ensuring the creative brief is delivered. As well as leading on the delivery of our 6-course menu, you’ll also be responsible for the licensable objectives and the food safety manual system ultimately ensuring that all our guests are safe, happy and having the best possible experience. This role will deputise for the Hospitality General Manager at least once a week and also be responsible for reporting, cash handling, fire marshalling and building lock-up when doing this role.
We expect all our teams to uphold the integrity of the immersive world and so a willingness to embody the style and sounds of 1930 is a must.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer service as laid out by the 58th Street mission
  • Lead a team of Waiters, Hosts, Runners and Bartenders
  • Learn the F&B Menu and be responsible for quality control in the delivery of it.
  • Provide an engaging and personalised experience for all guests at The 58th Street as part of our ‘in-world’ hospitality team
  • Work with the Hosts to recognise special occasions for guests
  • Learn names of guests and deliver a personal bespoke experience
  • Uphold the integrity of the immersive world
  • Work with the Hospitality Manager to help generate secondary spend opportunities, and in turn train the teams on suggestive selling, upselling and secondary spend.
  • Have an excellent working knowledge of allergens, dietaries and our menu. Alongside the Head Chef; call service and be responsible for the communication of all menu changes, special dishes and any dietary requirements.
  • Adhere to all specifications of the food safety manual system and deliver a safe working environment for all our guests
  • Work with the Hospitality Manager and Creative Associate on delivering a choreographed service
  • Manage the table plan and booking systems
  • Deputise for the Hospitality Manager at least once a week, taking their ‘on shift’ responsibilities.
