CONTRACT: FULL TIME, PERMANENTSALARY: 13.92 AN HOURHOURS: 40 PER WEEK

An independent boarding and day school for girls aged 11 to 18 in Reading, Berkshire. Catering for 550 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of breakfast, AM Break, lunch, afternoon break and supper. There is a considerable amount of hospitality at this location. This is a term-time plus contract working 34 weeks plus events over the summer. This is a 7-day operation so working pattern will be 5 days out of 7. Additional benefit to this location is free parking on site and use of gym at location for a reduced membership.
We are looking for a Supervisor to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Reading.
You will ideally have previous experience of working within a fast-paced catering environment as a hospitality assistant or supervisor.
You will enjoy what you do, working with a great team, for a company fanatical about food serving wonderful customers.
This is to help set up our exciting new venture. Opening and helping run a coffee van, that will serve students during their breaks. It will be open monday to friday and certain Saturdays to cover sport fixtures.
The postion on offer is a 42 week a year contract. Term Time plus 10 days.

YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Hospitality experience required
  • An all-round team player
  • Organised with attention to detail

KNOWLEDGE / COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
  • Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
