Job Description We're looking for a hands-on Team Leader/Supervisor to join our Christchurch operation. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll help coordinate day-to-day site activities, support the team, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently. This role would suit someone who is mechanically minded, enjoys working in a practical environment, and is keen to develop their leadership skills. You may already have some supervisory experience or be ready to take the next step in your career. You'll help keep production moving, assist with machinery issues, support the team, and contribute to the smooth running of the site. Hours are 6.00am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday. Key responsibilities: Support and coordinate daily team activities Help keep the site running safely and efficiently Assist with troubleshooting machinery and equipment issues Allocate workloads and support on-the-job training Solve practical problems as they arise Work alongside the Branch Manager to improve site performance Qualifications You'll be a practical, reliable person who enjoys working with people and leading by example. You'll also bring: Mechanical aptitude and good problem-solving skills A hands-on approach and good level of fitness Experience in a manufacturing, workshop, production, or industrial environment The ability to support and motivate others Good communication skills and a positive attitude An F endorsement (Forklift Licence), or willingness to obtain one Additional Information You'll join a supportive team where your contribution is valued and you'll have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills.
