Job Description VAM Systems is currently looking for Supervisor – Treasury Back Office for our UAE operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions: Basic Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 5-8 years of experience in Treasury Back Office operations, preferably within a bank or financial institution. Hands on experience with treasury systems (e.g., Murex, Calypso, Quantum, Kondor+, or similar). Strong understanding of settlement processes, confirmations, and treasury products. Experience in system implementation or major system upgrades is highly preferred. Strong analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Treasury System Implementation & Project Support •Act as the primary TBO representative for the new Treasury system implementation. •Participate in system design, configuration, and workflow mapping to ensure alignment with operational requirements. •Lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing), scenario building, and test execution. •Coordinate data migration activities, including validation of static data, counterparties, settlement instructions, and historical transactions. •Support integration with internal systems (e.g., GL, risk, cash management) and external platforms (SWIFT, custodians, banks). •Document processes, controls, and SOPs for the new system. •Provide training and knowledge transfer to TBO staff. •Ensure smooth go live and stabilization, acting as the first point of contact for system related issues. 2. Treasury Back Office Operations (BAU) •Handle daily settlement and confirmation of treasury products (MM, FX, IRS, Bonds, Repos, etc.). •Monitor cash flows, settlement deadlines, and reconciliation of nostro accounts. •Ensure accurate and timely processing of all treasury transactions. •Maintain and update settlement instructions, counterparty data, and static data in the system. •Support regulatory reporting, audit requirements, and compliance checks. •Investigate and resolve settlement discrepancies, breaks, and unmatched items. •Coordinate with Front Office, Middle Office, Finance, and IT to ensure seamless operations. 3. Controls, Compliance & Risk Management •Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements. •Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and clarifications. •Identify operational risks and propose enhancements to processes and controls.
