QUALIFICATIONS

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized Experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Performing logistics management functions, (i.e., pre-production/production/kitting, quality assurance, inventory, data analytics, material/equipment maintenance and sustainment processes over the full range of material commodity classes (class VIII, biomedical, narcotic, hazmat, civil engineering, etc.), supply system programs, DoD funding practices, and military practices/organizations),
  • Using technical production/sustainment/quality assurance operations to independently perform work such as resolving issues and controlling actions in an inventory management functions for a complete category of materials such as medical supplies, hospital equipment, vehicles, etc., to include planning, organizing, analysis, and execution of multiple medical systems servicing entities, (e.g., Expeditionary Medicine System (EXMEDS) platforms), production and forward sustainment efforts;
  • Provides analyses and reports to higher levels on the status functional areas on all pre-production, production, quality assurance, and forward sustainment efforts;
  • Ensuring information provided to customers is accurate and consistent; plan and coordinate the work; and resolve differences including participation in conferences, meetings, or presentations involving problems or issues of considerable consequence up to critical importance to the program, e.g., emergent problem resolution and research, planning and coordination to support the build of current medicine system platforms, e.g., EXMEDs) and the development of future medicine system platforms (e.g., EXMEDs);
  • Directing, coordinating, or overseeing the work of subordinates, (military and civilian personnel), and leading a large complex warehousing production staff while serving as the primary or direct supervisor for multiple departments within Forward (e.g. Expeditionary), Medical Logistics directorate and forward deployed detachments

Responsibilities

DUTIES

  • You will operate under the administrative guidance of the Director, Expeditionary Medical Logistics Directorate.
  • You will plan work to be accomplished, sets, and adjusts short and long-term priorities for the entire Directorate and prepares work completion schedules in support of Expeditionary Medical Logistics Directorate priorities.
  • You will conduct oversight of the Production, Quality Assurance and Expeditionary Medical Logistics Units (EMLU) Departments in the planning, organizing, analysis, and execution of EXMED production and forward sustainment efforts.
  • You will plan and prepares out-year budgets related to the Directorate and supplies these to the supervisor for submission and incorporation into overall Command budget submissions.
  • You will work planning to provide travel for staff to support deployment, pre-positioning, and forward sustainment operations.
  • You will perform oversight of quality assurance review functions and provides detailed reports and charts of complex analysis or highly technical test results.
  • You will coordinate the objectives and plans of the Integrated Logistics Overhaul (ILO) by monitoring, evaluating, and tracking the various Department responsibilities.
