POSITION SUMMARY

Veritas Management Group is seeking a highly accomplished Supervisory Scientific Data Analyst (Part-Time) to support advanced scientific research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), specifically focusing on neurodegenerative diseases. This senior-level position serves as the technical lead for analytic strategy, managing cross-functional teams and large-scale multimodal datasets. The ideal candidate is a nationally or internationally recognized expert with deep expertise in data science, genomics, and bioinformatics.
This is a part-time, high-impact leadership role ideal for a data scientist with extensive academic, research, and collaborative experience.

EDUCATION

PhD in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

• At least 10 years of experience conducting high-level scientific data analysis in genomics, neurogenetics, or related fields.
• A robust academic publication record (100+ peer-reviewed publications; H-index of 100+).
• Proven success leading large-scale scientific initiatives or research programs.

SKILLS

• Expertise in bioinformatics and biostatistical methods.
• Proficient in cloud-based platforms (e.g., Terra, Azure) and scientific computing environments.
• Deep understanding of data governance, research ethics, and interoperability standards (FAIR, FHIR).
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills across interdisciplinary teams.
