Overview Legacy Medical Group Neurology is looking for a Supplemental Neurohospitalist to join our team. Legacy Medical Group Neurology has neurohospitalists at all five Legacy Health stroke centers and has five outpatient practice locations with sub-specialty programs in movement disorders, epilepsy, vascular neurology, headache, and neuromuscular disease. The neurohospitalist would be based primarily at Good Samaritan Hospital, located in Portland, Or. This position provides consult service for all neurology patients and night call via telemedicine. Legacy Health System is a thriving, team-oriented local non-profit with five certified stroke centers in and around Portland, OR with the largest market share for neurology in the metropolitan area. One comprehensive stroke center, one thrombectomy-capable stroke center, and three primary stroke centers and are all Get With The Guidelines award winners. Our hospitals also include an extensive neurosurgery program, a neurocritical care unit, a cardiothoracic surgery program, level I trauma center, and a residency program in internal medicine. Teaching opportunities for medical students and residents. Legacy will consider other sub-specialties for exceptional candidates. Qualifications: Graduate of a four-year accredited U.S. Medical School or the equivalent. Satisfactory completion of an accredited residency in Neurology. Board Certified in Neurology. Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the applicable state.
