We are seeking a strategic and experienced Supplier Acquisition Specialist to build and expand our supplier network for Madar Platform. In this foundational role, you will be responsible for sourcing, onboarding, and managing suppliers, establishing operational processes, and defining best practices for supplier acquisition and relationship management. You will develop and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers, drive efficiency in onboarding and integration, and ensure alignment with our marketplace strategy. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams, including Operations, Business Development, and Customer Success, to ensure seamless supplier experiences and support the overall growth objectives of Madar Platform. Role overview The Supplier Acquisition Specialist is responsible for expanding and managing Madar’s supplier network, particularly in the cement and building materials sector. This role focuses on identifying new suppliers, building strong partnerships, onboarding them onto our platform, and ensuring their capabilities align with our logistics solutions. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams, support commercial discussions, and monitor supplier performance to drive efficiency and strengthen Madar’s marketplace offering. Key Responsibilities Identify and acquire suppliers in the cement and building materials sector. · Build and maintain strong supplier relationships. Onboard suppliers onto Madar’s platform efficiently. Align supplier capabilities with Madar’s logistics solutions. Support contract negotiations and pricing discussions. Collaborate with internal teams to optimize supplier performance. Monitor supplier performance and provide improvement recommendations. Strong experience in supplier and vendor management, including onboarding and relationship management. Deep knowledge of the cement, construction, or building materials supply chain preferred. Proven sales and business development abilities to generate leads and grow supplier network. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and market research capabilities. Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) and digital tools for supplier tracking. Ability to collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Sales, Marketplace). Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
