This role is directly responsible for managing and resolving critical supply chain shortages across a global market, working with diverse worldwide teams and multi-geographic manufacturing complexities. Key responsibilities include meeting weekly with internal and external manufacturing partners to address operational shortages, fostering strong relationships with business units and external vendors, and acquiring support to facilitate interfaces between various stakeholders to clear material shortages. The position also involves strategic contributions such as developing and utilizing Nokia's analytical tools for global allocation, driving scenario planning, and identifying opportunities to reduce excess costs. Furthermore, the role requires leading process improvement initiatives, integrating global policies, and participating in cross-functional efforts to ensure business line revenue, on-time delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction metrics are met, often leading or participating in global strategic supply chain initiatives.
