Responsibilities

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier administration across the UK and Europe.
  • Manage the end-to-end supplier onboarding process, including pre-qualification checks (credit, ethics, references), documentation collection, and system entry (Salesforce and SAP).
  • Oversee supplier renewals and maintain the database of approved suppliers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries related to onboarding and ongoing supplier management.
  • Support with preferential supplier analysis and generate reports to support strategic sourcing and compliance reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement within supplier management workflows.
  • Escalate medium- and high-risk supplier profiles to the Head of Business Operations in line with the Go/No-Go assessment process.
  • Ensure all suppliers acknowledge and comply with RED’s Supplier Code of Conduct, or provide equivalent documentation where applicable.
  • Maintain and update compliance-related registers, including onboarding trackers, document control logs, and audit records, in alignment with ISO standards and internal policies.
  • Support quarterly compliance reporting and internal audits by preparing supplier activity summaries and maintaining audit trails.
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support supplier governance, including the development and maintenance of spreadsheets, databases, and registers.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 - 5 years’ experience in a general administration related role
  • Good working knowledge / use of Office 365 Word / Excel / PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Knowledge of other applications including software-based project and CRM management systems
  • Previous supplier administration experience beneficial
  • Friendly, polite and helpful manner

  • Ability to prioritise own workload
  • Accuracy / Excellent attention to detail
  • Familiarity with business administration systems and processes
