Description
Handles day-to-day legal matters in the assigned business unit. Provides legal advice and support to Supply Chain and Contracts teams in drafting and negotiating all types of contracts to meet business and legal needs, including complex contracts in the assigned Technology Center (data privacy, research and development, IOT services, other digital products, licensing and certification). Assists with reporting, filing and other issues regarding the exchanges on which Schlumberger securities are traded. Assists the Legal Counsel in the assigned business unit(s) with: Conducting regular legal risk assessment, coordinating and documenting input from the business and other functions stakeholders, maintaining the risk database, taking responsibility for the implementation of the assigned risk mitigation actions; Managing litigations; Managing and supervising outside counsel; Handling internal investigations and compliance reviews; implementing procedures, practices, guidelines, templates and related training. Provides legal support to ensure compliance with local regulations and Schlumberger Code of Ethics, including assisting in performing operations assurance reviews when requested.
