SUPPLIER COORDINATOR

As Charis grows, we are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded Supplier Coordinator to support the development of our product and procurement function. You’ll support the Supplier Manager in managing our great supplier relationships, ensuring that the supply chain runs smoothly, cost effectively and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards. You’ll play a vital role in our service, ensuring we deliver the right products, at the right time to our vulnerable customers.

· Build and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers, advising on volume forecasts and maintaining accurate records of supplier communications.
· Work with the commercial team to keep abreast of our client requirements for product range and specifications, and share information with suppliers, always ensuring our product range is appropriate and of the right quality.
· Follow internal processes to source new products and make recommendations to the Supplier Manager.
· Monitor our sales performance to understand product and customer trends and make informed decisions.
· Monitor supplier performance, creating and analysing reports using Excel, on product quality, service and external reviews, identifying trends and concerns and making suggestions for improvements. Support with annual supplier performance reviews.
· Organise regular supplier meetings, record minutes and actions, and follow up to ensure actions have been taken.
· Maintain our supplier database, including contracts and supplier accreditations, coordinating the annual renewal process for both.
· Coordinate supplier onboarding, with documentation, due diligence, and compliance checks.
· Support the Service Delivery team to resolve delivery queries, including delays and shortages.
· Support with purchasing of services and supplies including office consumables.
