Description
Primary Responsibilities: Develop and mentor suppliers to enhance technical capabilities, product quality, cost efficiency, and lead times. Partner with Global Category Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Regional Procurement teams to identify cost reduction opportunities and expand supplier capabilities in the region. Conduct supplier site visits to assess processes and implement improvements in production, lean practices, material flow, and efficiency. Organize and lead cross-functional teams to evaluate and qualify suppliers through First Article inspections, ensuring sustainable long-term success. Collaborate with Engineering on design-for-manufacturability initiatives. Support supplier negotiations and selection processes. Track and report cost savings, supplier performance metrics, and conduct periodic performance reviews to drive continuous improvement. Assist the local Procurement team as needed. Perform and analyze Supplier Risk Assessments in line with the Supplier Lifecycle Management program. Create ERP reports Make sure progress reports updated by suppliers Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities: Compliance with company and government quality standards. Adherence to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. Training as per company policy. Qualification, knowledge and experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Experience Required: 3-5 years in managerial level of supply chain
