What you will do: The Supplier Development & Performance Manager is responsible for identifying and driving continuous improvements with assigned suppliers. This role ensures alignment with business needs to maximize sustainable supplier performance in terms of on-time delivery, quality, capacity, scalability, and sustainability to all sites. Initial 2-year fixed-term contract How you will do it: Lead a team of Supplier Development leaders and NPI Engineers across multiple PBU/plants to drive continuous improvements. Collaborate with Global Fulfillment Manager, PBU Operations leaders, and Procurement to implement processes, tools, and training that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and accountability in order fulfillment. Conduct audits and assessments at supplier locations to address critical issues and ensure adherence to quality standards. Analyze supplier performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Establish effective communication channels with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and responsiveness. Drive cost reduction initiatives and value engineering projects with suppliers to enhance competitiveness. Support strategic supplier discussions regarding dual sourcing and supplier changes with Procurement PBU & Category leadership. Facilitate and execute training and development programs for suppliers to enhance their operational efficiencies. Develop project templates and management systems to drive data to actionable information. Monitor supplier compliance with delivery schedules and manage critical issues per company protocols. What we look for: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field. +5 years of experience in a similar role; Automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain management, preferably in a global, cross-cultural environment. Hands-on experience with successful application of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing tools. Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills with strong problem-solving capabilities. Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and influence others. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Project Management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
