Description

HAT.tec is an internationally active software start-up in the aerospace and defense sectors. We are convinced that the future lies in the collaboration between humans and machines – so-called Human Autonomy Teaming .

Our focus is on the development and application of technologies for the cooperative and coordinated deployment of manned and unmanned systems ( Manned-Unmanned Teaming ), always keeping people at the center.

Our technologies are designed for people who work in complex and safety-critical environments: pilots, operators, crew members, and decision-makers who contribute daily to ensuring the safety and freedom of others.

Our mission: to develop intelligent, human-centered software solutions that support critical operations – and make a difference where it matters most.

And this is where you come in:

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated individual in the area of Supplier & Business Operations (m/f/d) who will reliably manage and actively develop our operational structures and processes.

In this role, you will be responsible for our supplier management, contract and resource administration, and key business operations processes . You will act as a crucial link between internal departments, suppliers, external resources, and our external consultants. Simultaneously, you will drive the standardization, digitalization, and automation of our processes, thereby laying the foundation for efficient, transparent, and scalable operations within a growing technology company.

Your Responsibilities

  • You manage the entire supplier lifecycle – from qualification and registration to evaluation and phase-out – and ensure complete and up-to-date documentation.
  • You coordinate supplier assessments, monitor performance, risks and open measures, and work closely with internal departments.
  • You will coordinate contracts, contract amendments and NDAs for suppliers, freelancers, work packages and temporary employment (ANÜ) in cooperation with our external legal counsel.
  • You manage the onboarding, contract extensions and offboarding of external resources and keep track of contract durations and relevant deadlines.
  • You create and coordinate employment contracts, contract amendments and other personnel-related documents, and ensure reliable administration.
  • You will continuously develop our business operations processes and drive standardization, digitization and automation using modern tools and AI.

Your Profile

  • You have initial professional experience in supplier management, procurement, vendor management, business operations or a comparable field.
  • You have experience in contract and document management as well as a good commercial and basic legal understanding.
  • Ideally, you are familiar with freelancing, temporary staffing (ANÜ) and working with external service providers.
  • Knowledge of quality management, export control, information security or data protection is an advantage.
  • You think in a process-oriented way, have a high affinity for digital tools, automation and AI, and want to actively improve existing processes.
  • You work in a structured, careful and independent manner, maintain an overview even when dealing with multiple topics, and communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
