Within HMRC’s Chief Digital & Information Group (CDIO), specifically in the Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) team we are redefining and growing a team of outstanding people to improve its HMRC Cloud Centre of Excellence offering.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Join HMRC’s Chief Digital & Information Group (CDIO) as a Supplier Manager and become part of an exciting new profession that is transforming how we manage our critical supplier relationships. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of supplier management across CDIO whilst supporting over 200 contracts, including those supporting critical national infrastructure.
Your role will involve managing contracts operationally in line with Supplier Management Practice principles, standards, and processes, alongside external regulations such as GDPR. You will collaborate closely with commercial teams, strategic business partners, finance, security, and various suppliers to deliver timely and accurate reporting of supplier performance. Building positive relationships and overcoming challenges to provide solutions will be central to your success.

The role requires close collaboration with commercial teams, strategic business partners, finance, security, service level management, delivery areas, major programmes, service owners, and senior responsible officers. You will be responsible for providing timely and accurate reporting of supplier performance whilst building positive relationships with both suppliers and internal customers.
