These are your tasks

• Evaluation and monitoring of supplier performance based on defined quality indicators
• Processing, coordinating and documenting supplier complaints according to internal guidelines (for example, 8D reports)
• On-site support and acceptance of the initial sample production at suppliers' premises and approval of the sample scope.
• Planning and execution of supplier audits and quality discussions
• Support in the selection and qualification of new suppliers
• Definition of the sampling scope
• Evaluation and decision on initial samples (documentation/component)
• Creation of reports, statistics and presentations
• Conducting root cause analyses and initiating corrective and preventive actions with suppliers
• Close collaboration with purchasing, goods receipt, production and development

What you bring with you

• Completed Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the field of quality
• Technical understanding
• Knowledge of quality methods and tools as well as APQP and FMEA
• Knowledge of SPC statistical process control and 6 Sigma
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Very good German and English skills
• Strong teamwork skills, excellent communication skills
• Self-organization as well as analytical and abstract thinking skills
• Willingness to travel
