Description We are looking for an account manager with knowledge of marketing and ecommerce in the firearms industry to join our team. Supplier Marketing Solutions works within our Merchandising and Supply Chain Management cluster. The role focuses on the selling of marketing services as well as implementing and overseeing marketing programs for our supplier accounts. Supplier Marketing Solutions Account Managers work with OpticsPlanet and CampSaver suppliers to provide them with opportunities to market their products through our channels. Responsibilities Manage relationships with key suppliers and serve as a marketing resource for suppliers within the organization. Negotiate with suppliers on marketing budgets and compile strategic marketing plans which will achieve increased sales for participating suppliers. Collaborate with various teams within the Marketing cluster to implement brand-specific marketing campaigns. Become familiar with the basics of the product categories OpticsPlanet and CampSaver carry through interactions with suppliers and product training. Participate in a variety of projects and initiatives related to brands and suppliers. Requirements 1-3 years of Account Management, Sales, Marketing or Ecommerce experience Ability to manage 50+ supplier accounts Bachelor’s degree or equivalent/relevant experience Retail/e-commerce experience is preferred Knowledge of the firearms, hunting, law enforcement, military, and/or outdoor industries Positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to multitask Extreme attention to detail: communication, messaging, writing, presentation Excellent verbal and written communication skills A sharp mind with an ability to grasp concepts quickly and work out solutions to complex logic problems Ability to understand and analyze complex data to make informed decisions Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel High comfort level with software and technology in general Compensation and Benefits Annual Based Salary Range: $55-$65k The annual based range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. You are also eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
