We’re seeking a Supplier Performance Analyst to join our team and play a key role in managing the City’s supplier performance program.
In this position, you’ll go beyond day-to-day support, taking the lead on a range of activities from reporting and documentation to stakeholder engagement. Your work will be vital in ensuring our supplier performance program aligns with all City policies, directives, and procedures, directly contributing to our operational success. SKILLS REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS:

  • Strong knowledge of supplier management best practices, policies, and procedures
  • Proven ability to interpret, implement, and ensure compliance with city policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
  • Skilled in gathering, interpreting, and presenting complex information from various sources in clear, visually digestible reports
  • Experience with a variety of software applications, including SAP ECC, S4 Hana, and SAP Ariba (specifically downstream and supplier performance management)
  • Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to lead meetings and build consensus through negotiation and mediation
  • Ability to identify non-standard process needs, make sound recommendations, and innovate to improve business decisions
  • Strong organizational skills for coordinating, prioritizing, and managing complex tasks and deliverables in a results-driven environment
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective, professional working relationships with both internal and external partners
  • Understanding and applying change management principles to support process evolution and innovation

  • University graduation in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a discipline as required by area of specialization
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ directly related working experience is require
Responsibilities
  • Complete activities related to the Supplier Performance Management (SPM) Program:
  • Responsible for the completion of supplier performance management functions, including but not limited to setting up the SPM workspaces in Ariba, determining the survey participants, creating/issuing the surveys on a recurrence or milestone basis, and reviewing to ensure participants complete surveys
  • Reviewing Ariba license requests as required to ensure survey participants have access
  • Monitor the timing of processes to ensure alignment with the SPM program
  • Provide assistance to business areas with troubleshooting technical issues and facilitate resolution
  • Engage with required partners such as suppliers, SAP Ariba representatives, Technology & Integration, Contract Strategy, Legal Services, and Procurement as required
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and all City standards, frameworks, policies, directives, and procedures to protect the City from any risks
  • Understand the SPM Program framework thoroughly to provide advice and recommendations as required
  • Guide internal and external partners to ensure compliance with regulatory corporate, and administrative policies, directives, and procedures requirements to minimize any contractual and operational risk for the City
  • Track upcoming, completed, and past due Supplier Performance surveys and communicate to the organization
  • Complete reporting and analytic activities related to different task functions within the scope of the Supplier Performance Management program, including but not limited to the number of surveys completed, active engagement in the program, and supplier scores
