Responsibilities

WHAT THE ROLE HAS TO OFFER:

  • Opportunity to expand your skill-set within the procurement field.
  • Career progression – this is a senior role which will sit within the IAS Management structure.
  • Newly created role which will report directly into the IAS function.

You are delivery focused with excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills. You will have experience of managing compressed lead times along with prioritization and reporting or report creation. Alongside this, the following skills and experience will set you up for success in the role:

  • Demonstrable history of managing performance improvement projects.
  • Understanding and knowledge of Quality Management principles and systems.
  • Supply chain engineering experience within a low to medium volume environment, light mechanical / electro-mechanical production environment or other relevant sectors.
  • Awareness and use of continuous improvement techniques and practical implementation of lean manufacturing.
  • Experience of operational management, manufacturing and ERP systems, including routings, BOM`s, Concessions, Change Requests etc.
  • Broad process knowledge including machining, assembly (both mechanical and electronic) and test.
  • Industry experience in Defence, Aerospace and Security would be desirable.
  • Business acumen, awareness of organisational models, markets, technologies
