StaffBright working with a client in the search for a highly skilled Supplier Planner to join their growing team. In this role, the Supplier Planner will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring the timely flow of materials to support production and business operations. This position requires a proactive professional who can analyze demand forecasts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop effective supply plans that balance cost, quality, and delivery requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong supplier and cross-functional relationships.
• Proficiency in analyzing data, generating actionable insights, and utilizing MRP/supply chain systems.
• Open to recent graduates with relevant internship experience, or candidates with 1+ years of material planning or supply chain experience.

ALL-STAR SKILL SET

• Automotive and/or fastener industry experience is a plus, but not required.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP package is highly valued.

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships, serving as the primary point of contact and leading regular meetings to resolve issues and ensure alignment.
• Strong organizational skills with experience placing, scheduling, and expediting orders to meet critical deadlines while proactively addressing shortages or discrepancies.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to review MRP outputs, supplier call-offs, and chase lists to prevent overordering/underordering and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Detail-oriented approach to managing ASNs, tracking supplier performance, and documenting activities to maintain smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
