Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Program Management Specialist to support Boeing’s Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) seeker team in Boston, MA.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Lead and Senior Supplier Program Management Specialist.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Technical Bachelor’s, Master’s or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study).
  • 5+ years’ experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management in a technical capacity
  • 5+ years’ experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
  • Experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements
  • Experience analyzing and applying metrics to enable key business decisions and process improvement

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Level 5: 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience establishing relationships and maintaining strong on-going communication with customers, suppliers and/or vendors
  • Experience preparing and presenting to executives, senior leadership, and external customers
  • Experience in leadership or management role

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Required

Responsibilities
  • Oversees technical and business guidance to critical suppliers and programs.
  • Leads strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers and programs.
  • Manages all aspects of supplier and stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.
  • Leads supplier assessments and the development of recovery plans, corrective and preventative actions.
  • Leads the development of company or business unit procurement strategies.
  • Provides oversight, guidance and verification of work movement projects.
  • Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Manages work movement plans.
