As Supplier Development Engineer you are a crucial member in the supplier quality development team, with a preventive attitude and a resolutive dedication implementing mid- and long-term strategies. You regularly conduct supplier audits or assessments, with focus on systems and processes, and identify areas for improvement. Developing and implementing of supplier development plans belongs to your daily tasks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive supplier improvement initiatives. Delivering training programs to suppliers on quality control and process improvement techniques allows you to bring your experience to the suppliers on how they deal with their business. Jointly with the material field teams, you analyze supplier performance metrics and providing regular updates to management. A strong relationship with suppliers to ensure open communication and collaboration is something you understand as crucial for your success.
