Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Italy is currently seeking applicants for Supplier Quality Eng Subdivision Modules. In this position, you will define, implement, and/or enhance strategies for cross-divisional business growth. Job Location: Vishay Semiconductor Italiana spa is site focused on the design, development and production of power diodes and power modules. There are around 300 employees currently work in Borgaro Torinese Italy. This number is constantly growing due to our expansion plans. What you will be doing: To manage supplier quality performance and act as main quality interface for assigned suppliers for Subdvision Modules. To manage and coordinate supplier quality issues, non-conformities and corrective actions (8D). To manage supplier qualification, audits, assessments and follow-up improvement plans. To understand and identify supplier quality risks, trends and improvement opportunities. To manage communication and escalation with suppliers in cooperation with Purchasing and Operations. Willingness to travel. What you will bring along: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Management Engineering, Quality, Industrial, Electrical, Electronic or similar). 5+ years of relevant experience in Supplier Quality, preferably in Automotive, HV or Power Electronics environments. Excellent knowledge of quality standards and methods (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC). Good knowledge of data analysis, problem solving and root cause analysis tools. Good attitude in dealing with issues. Good motivation to master new major challenges. Responsibilities
Manage supplier quality performance and act as the primary quality interface for the Modules subdivision. Coordinate non-conformities, corrective actions, and supplier audits to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
