To support our team located in Tangier, Morocco we are currently looking for Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer (AQE) / Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) as team member of our regional Supplier Quality & Development Team. General purpose is to establish, assist and support the supply chain management process at the APTIV manufacturing locations. Work involves developing reliable suppliers by assessing supplier capabilities and providing performance improvement methods. Supports APTIV plant/quality/purchasing management regarding to supplier quality issues with standardized action, e.g. SPDP. Applies advanced knowledge of quality, manufacturing and engineering processes to guide the improvement of supplier performance in quality, service and price. Considerable creativity and initiative are required. Independent judgement is normally required with some direction from the supervisor. May exercise some technical direction over others. Your Role (AQE) Audits: independent planning, execution and rating of system and process audits at suppliers on request. Monitor/accelerate supplier implementation of improvement plans through follow up measures. SPDP: identify and execute self-responsible the tools out of the SPDP “toolbox” which are adequate to solve a respective problem Sampling Approval ( PPAP; PPF;..): initialize; observe; judge and approve products and processes at suppliers according to requirements Mentor APQP activities of suppliers: verify and judge Process flows; P-FMEAs and Control plans. Monitor and assure that timing plans for product and process developments are established, monitored and executed in accordance to customer requirements. Initialize and execute project reviews with suppliers, in case in coordination with other purchasing and engineering functions. Monitor supplier performance; develop and publish data reports Capacity verification (R@R): independent planning, execution and rating of capacity verifications (R@R) Supplier contact: be central contact for APQP activities of dedicated suppliers Support of project: Support project teams at customer audits / reviews. Contribute in internal project reviews Quality complaints: Support the SQE team in case of quality complaints during serial phase (perform process audits, judge 8D reports and 5 why analysis, mentor improvement workshops;…) Special tasks: e.g. execution of internal activities (Six Sigma Projects; Shainin; development of procedures; support of internal & external audits…) Policies & procedures: Ensure that APTIV policies and procedures are followed, especially EOS, Environmental and Internal Control instructions. SQE activities especially in Morocco and EMEA region React as representative for SQ&D Perform SPDP tasks for production cycle Monitor supplier performance, develop and publish data reports and present data at site reviews Manage supplier performance deficiencies with e.g. Controlled shipping and NBH Support and push underperforming suppliers in their improvement activities Support Cost Recovery activities between Supplier and APTIV Support cross-functional teams (APQP/PDP) and function as a liaison to additional supplier development / supplier quality resources Lead Regional SPDP Planning & Analysis and Administration Activities Perform audits at suppliers concerning manufacturing & Problem solving capabilities Coordinate with / support Supplier Management in: Scorecard and Performance activities QFS, NBH, Major disruption activities Customer requirements related to suppliers Perform special assignments Your Background Technical education (Engineer or adequate background) Statistical skills Professional experience of min 5 years of industrial engineering, manufacturing, quality or project management Quality tools knowledge Automotive (AIAG/VDA) Core Tools knowledge VDA6.3 process auditor certification English language for technical negotiation Confident computer skills with table calculation Self-confident appearance in front of supplier management Flexibility and travel readiness Aptiv Rewards & Advantages Competitive compensation package Diverse benefit package Youthful and dynamic work environment Privacy Notice - Active Candidates: https://www.aptiv.com/privacy-notice-active-candidates Aptiv is an equal employment opportunity employer.
