To lead improvement of supplier performance relating to quality,safety and on-time delivery for assigned suppliers and reduce the cost of quality (COQ) for Howden
To approve and develop new suppliers to required levels of performance expected by Howden and lead qualification of parts manufactured by suppliers.
Develop & maintain relationships in order to improve partnerships between Howden & suppliers.
Manage supplier audit process. Audit critical suppliers annually, identify opportunities for improvement, & guide on implementation of more effective processes. Lead the corrective actions process following the audits.
Responsible for coordinating with Procurement & Category Management organizations for enabling growth & quality improvements at preferred suppliers.
Monitor and report on supplier quality and on-time delivery performance and initiatives to improve.
Lead new supplier qualification and first article qualification cross-functional teams by use of PPAP and PFMEA methods.
Interface with Suppliers, Quality, Operations, & Engineering, & Procurement organizations to drive quality improvements.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions process of supplier issues.
Drive use data analytics to focus on critical supplier quality issues.
Responsible for other duties and tasks as directed.
