In your position as Supplier Quality Engineer, you are responsible for technical supplier management as part of the value chain and support our Sourcing Managers in the selection, qualification, performance improvement and further development of our suppliers.
To minimize risks, you ensure series quality through product and process audits as well as quality assurance agreements .
Your tasks include analyzing quality indicators, initiating improvement measures as needed , and managing escalations.
You are responsible for implementing quality and safety requirements, especially when suppliers change or products are modified.
In escalated complaint cases, you will support the initiation and monitoring of measures at the supplier.
Your responsibilities are rounded off by supporting EOS's regulatory and environmental corporate goals.
Your talents
Completed technical or scientific studies, e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, ideally with additional qualifications in quality management
Experience in quality management at an internationally operating industrial company (e.g., mechanical engineering, laser technology, additive manufacturing)
Qualifications and experience as a supplier auditor
Proficient in the use of quality tools (e.g. 8D, FMEA, audits, testing and laboratory technology)
Experience with SAP and CAQ systems
Clear and secure communication in German and English
