Description:

At Nilfisk, we assemble high-quality industrial vacuum cleaners and high-pressure washers at our Nagykanizsa site, which is currently our largest factory. We collaborate with suppliers across Hungary and Europe to source the essential parts for our products.
We are excited to invite applications for the position of Supplier Quality Engineer in Nagykanizsa.
Team Overview: In this role, you will be part of a dedicated team consisting of 2 engineers, 3 technicians, and 2 administrative colleagues in the Incoming Quality Control (IQC) department. You will report directly to the Supplier Quality Supervisor.

What you’ll do:

  • Ensure compliance with Nilfisk’s supplier quality requirements and standards during ongoing production.
  • Manage supplier-related claims and oversee quality-related issues at suppliers, including providing 8D support following quality complaints.
  • Analyze material and component-related problems that occur during assembly.
  • Actively participate in supplier performance evaluations, monitoring activities, and development programs.
  • Support production lines with supplier quality-related topics, including the analysis of assembly quality issues and assembly trials.
  • Conduct technical evaluations of suppliers’ manufacturing and quality concepts.
  • Adhere to the requirements of the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems.

We value the experience you bring:

  • A degree in Engineering.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in quality tools (e.g., FMEA, PPAP, APQP, CP, 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hungarian.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • A valid “B” type driving license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a supplier and/or internal auditor, as well as knowledge of SAP.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.
