Overview
Are you a person who enjoys making positive, tangible changes that improve the overall quality of a product or process? Do you have a passion for supplier quality and compliance? Are you a data-driven individual? If so, then maybe you would be a great fit for our Supplier Quality Engineer.
The Supplier Quality Engineer ensures the quality of processes and products by performing audits, inspections, tests, defect analysis, trend analysis, programming & troubleshooting inspection equipment, calibration maintenance, and reporting on results of measurement standards as well as ensures consistent quality of suppliers and production by validating processes.
This position is part of the Quality Assurance department and will be an onsite position.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Responsible for the overall PPAP qualifications, translations, and First Article Inspections. Connects with strategic sourcing, engineering, supply chain and quality for fully implementation of the NPI and new parts development.
  • Responsible for the Supplier Capability assessment, driving the supplier selection and supplier capacity analysis.
  • Collaborate with Global NPD, strategic sourcing, and engineering to achieve and develop supplier product quality CTQ`s and delivery targets.
  • Lead QARA supplier system (Windchill) for driving supplier engagement and communications for Improvement Programs.
  • Responsible for 3rd party suppliers’ development and audits, driving full spec compliance.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related field with 5 - 7 years professional experience with 4 years’ experience in a supplier quality role.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100, AS13100, IEC and other ISO standards.
  • Detailed knowledge in PPAP, APQP and Digital Management Systems.
  • Proficient in software such as PowerPoint, Excel, Minitab, etc.
  • Experience in aviation, automotive and high-volume industries a plus.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Fluent in German
