We are currently seeking a motivated Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at Quest Global. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of suppliers’ products and services and identifying continuous improvement initiatives.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and standards, such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
  • Familiarity with supplier qualification and auditing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

WORK EXPERIENCE

This role is considered an on-site position located in Minneapolis, MN
· You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
· Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities
  • Identify continuous improvement initiatives in Supplier Quality Processes to improve Return to Vendor Cycle Time, reduce slow-moving inventory levels, and Improve Supplier Containment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain quality standards for materials and components used in our aerospace and defense products.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Provide guidance and support to suppliers in implementing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in supplier quality management.
