Description
As a Supplier Quality Enginer you will work directly with suppliers to uphold Resideo’s quality standards, strategy, and replenishment initiatives in the production of components. Acting as the primary Resideo point of contact within your supply base, you will frequently engage with all levels of the organization and travel across your assigned region to support supplier oversight functions. A significant part of your role will be spent at supplier facilities, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement. You will be responsible for coordinating supplier relationships, verifying adherence to Resideo’s quality standards, and conducting supplier audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will play a key role in strategic development and implementation of quality control plans. JOB DUTIES: Drive supplier selection through Common Assessments Lead on-site process audits to ensure compliance and process capability Develop suppliers using Lean tools to improve quality, eliminate systemic issues, optimize cost, inventory, and delivery performance Monitor supplier KPIs to reduce risks and improve performance across the supply base Support smooth transitions, VA/VE activities, and new product introductions (NPIs) with suppliers Partner with suppliers during NPIs to ensure milestones are achieved on time Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing teams to define process parameters that meet product and process requirements Contribute to and lead continuous improvement initiatives Coach and develop suppliers using quality improvement tools (process control, error proofing, etc.) to achieve Resideo’s goals of zero disruptions, on-time delivery, and efficient PO management YOU MUST HAVE: Strong understanding of quality engineering practices Trained in Six Sigma / Lean methodologies Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver innovative quality solutions Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare progress reports and executive-level presentations Ability to work both in office and production environments Self-motivation and ability to deliver results with minimal supervision Hands-on experience with quality assurance processes Proven experience leading teams in problem solving and driving supplier improvements using Six Sigma tools Strong organizational and project management capabilities Effective negotiation skills and ability to build win-win supplier relationships High level of interpersonal skills to manage conflict and challenging situations effectively Proficiency in Czech and English WE VALUE: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supplier Quality or related roles Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU: 5 weeks of paid vacation Hybrid work model Flexible working hours On-site canteen & home office meal vouchers Pension plan or DIP contributions Discounted phone plans & company product discounts Multisport Card & cafeteria program #LI-FM1 #LI-ONSITE
