Job Description What will you be doing? The Role We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer with strong experience in machining and surface treatments to play a key role in ensuring continuity of supply chain operations. This position is focused on immediate crisis recovery and continuity of parts flow at supplier sites, with scope to transition into improvement operations once stability is achieved. Key Responsibilities: Drive missing parts recovery to ensure continuous flow of detailed components. Manage concessions and approvals to minimise disruption. Lead crisis/problem resolution directly at supplier sites. Collaborate with suppliers to stabilise production and implement recovery plans. Potential to support medium-term improvement operations once supply chain stability is restored. Qualifications Experience, skills and qualifications required: Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (required). Strong technical background in machining and surface treatments (detailed parts). Experience in crisis management – highly desirable. Familiarity with SCQM and/or SDM profiles is advantageous. Proven experience in problem-solving under pressure in a supply chain or manufacturing environment. Mobility and willingness to operate between Belfast base and mainland European supplier sites.
