Tasks and responsibilities

  • You are responsible for and independently optimize your own supplier portfolio (by product group) with regard to all quality-relevant processes.
  • They qualify our suppliers, for example by conducting audits, negotiating quality assurance agreements, or coordinating initial sample inspections.
  • Your responsibilities also include quality planning and the implementation of quality improvement measures.
  • They regularly conduct supplier evaluations and derive development perspectives for suppliers from them.
  • They are responsible for the independent operational handling of supplier complaints and, in the event of quality issues, escalate supplier procedures. This includes implementing technical corrective actions and negotiating cost reimbursements. 

 

Professional competencies

  • You have at least a qualification as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) or alternatively a successfully completed bachelor's degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or medical technology.
  • You have initial professional experience in quality or supplier management (preferably with reference to DIN EN ISO 13485/CFR820)
  • Ideally, you have methodological knowledge in quality management (e.g., 8D report, FMEA, process validation).
  • They have excellent written and spoken English skills to communicate with foreign suppliers.

  • They possess a structured and analytical approach as well as a results- and solution-oriented work style with a high degree of personal responsibility.
  • You are characterized by assertiveness, negotiation skills and a confident demeanor.
