Description

Tasks

  • You are responsible for managing complaints to suppliers and driving the continuous improvement of supplier performance .
  • You develop key performance indicators, reports and supplier evaluations and derive suitable improvement measures from them .
  • You plan, coordinate and conduct supplier audits and support suppliers in the sustainable development of their processes and quality standards.
  • You will contribute to the implementation of our supplier strategy, risk management, and sustainability goals.
  • You will be involved in the selection, qualification and approval of new suppliers, as well as the initial sampling and approval of components.
  • You support development and factory projects as a central interface to our suppliers and ensure a successful transition to series production.
  • You initiate and manage supplier development programs , working closely with purchasing, engineering, production and other departments.

Profile

  • You have successfully completed a degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
  • You have several years of professional experience (at least 3 years) in supplier management, supplier quality management or quality management in a manufacturing company.
  • You have a technical background in mechanical or electrical manufacturing processes.
  • You are familiar with common quality methods such as 8D, Ishikawa or supplier evaluations and apply them confidently in practice.
  • You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, and impress with a confident demeanor towards internal and external contacts.
  • You are willing to travel for supplier visits and audits.
  • You have good English skills, both spoken and written.
