Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Ensure that the Quality systems at our Suppliers and within Philips, as well as our Supplier’s products & services, meet relevant Purchasing Controls requirements.
You are responsible for supplier qualification, audits, SCARs, performance monitoring, external inspections/audits of Purchasing controls, product risk assessments and training.
Responsibilities:
- Exercising a multi-disciplinary approach and applying knowledge of Supplier Quality principles, theories and concepts; including ASL (Approved Supplier List) management, auditing, SCAR coordination, performance monitoring
- Product onboarding and Quality Transition Plans
- Executing and documenting compliance verification as part of 3rd Party Product onboarding and defining verification inspection plans where applicable
- Participating in the supplier selection and qualification process, incl. Supplier Audits preparation, execution, and documentation.
- Supporting the Approved Supplier List management, incl. evidence of evaluation records
- Issuing Supplier Corrective Actions Requests (SCARs) and Quality Notifications to suppliers and ensuring completion
- Giving input to purchasing control processes, procedures & systems in compliance with applicable regulations
- Participating/supporting integration and validation of purchasing procedures with supporting IT and data applications for effective operationalization
- Frequently interacting with functional peer groups, demonstrating the ability to gain cooperation of others, leading/participating in cross-functional projects
- Exercising judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine the appropriate action
