Our business is growing and we are looking for a Supplier Quality Manager to strengthen our Procurement organization. Do you have a great interest and experience of process work, communication with both internal and external stakeholders in order to develop an effective supplier base then you might be the one we are looking for.
Your role
As a Supplier Quality Manager you will be part of a team driving quality assurance in relation with suppliers and cutting-edge technology for Saab Surveillance’s products. You will work closely with purchasers, production, product management, product design and suppliers to align requirements and find opportunities to add value for Saab in terms of quality, cost and technology.
You will be a member of the Supplier Quality Management team within the Surveillance Procurement organization. The Procurement organization stretches over several different geographical locations where you can be involved in assignments from other locations than your primary work location, will be at our premises in Göteborg.

The main tasks are:

• Communicate relevant requirements in the supply chain, e.g. process/product quality and general company requirements.
• Manage supplier quality assurance planning, perform activities such as audits, process qualifications, process improvements in order to secure product quality.
• Work proactive with risk mitigations and preventive improvements in close cooperation with internal stakeholders and with our suppliers.
• Manage supplier deviations with strong focus on improvements, by challenge and support suppliers in defining and implementing preventive actions.
• Work on a global supplier market in close relation with suppliers and relevant Saab stakeholders.

Your profile
You are a self-motivated person with great communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You are used to collaborate with team members where the team also involves external interfaces where you build trust and you must be persevering to enable our success. You understand how we best can support the overall company goals to stay as a leader in the business.

Required skills:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or other relevant education/experience.
• Extensive supplier quality assurance skills, quality methods and tools, or similar experience from any industrial company.
• Excellent analytical skills, including effective root cause analysis.
• Documented knowledge and experience of working according to ISO 9001/EN9100 or equivalent.
• Driver’s license B is required for this position.

Desired skills:

• Well oriented in Management systems, Code of conduct, Business Continuity Management, Information Security, Risk Management, AQAP, SE-EMAR, PART 21G etc.
• Experience from working in an international environment.
• The ability to work well with many different people and professions is a key to success and excellent communication skills is required.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
