The Supplier Quality Technician is responsible for inspecting and testing incoming materials, ensuring supplier compliance, and supporting the Quality Engineering team through documentation, analysis, and system entry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on hands-on inspection, enjoys collaborating with engineering and supply chain teams, and wants to grow within a company known for technical excellence. What You’ll Do Perform incoming inspections on raw materials and supplier components. Use calipers, micrometers, hardness testers, and other precision tools to measure and verify compliance. Record inspection data and nonconformances in ERP systems (Oracle preferred). Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve supplier issues and support root-cause analysis. Prepare inspection reports, certificates of analysis, and material traceability documentation. Assist with supplier performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area. What We’re Looking For 3–6 years of supplier quality or incoming inspection experience. Working knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle preferred). Experience inspecting incoming raw materials or components. Associate degree in a technical or business discipline (or equivalent experience). Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills. Strong teamwork, accountability, and communication. Bonus Skills Experience with QE laboratory testing or data collection. Familiarity with supplier scorecards and corrective action systems. Lean manufacturing or ISO 9001 background.
