  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the primary liaison for suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships between OCS and its suppliers, ensuring mutual understanding and collaboration.
  • Oversee and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure they are met in line with company budgets and expectations.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and pricing while ensuring compliance with company policies and objectives.
  • Develop and implement supplier performance evaluation metrics to assess and improve supplier quality, delivery, and service levels.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier reliability and product quality, implementing contingency plans as necessary.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers, focusing on process enhancements and cost reduction strategies.
  • Manage the supplier onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation and certifications are obtained and maintained.
  • Resolve disputes and manage conflicts with suppliers in a timely and effective manner to minimize impact on business operations.
  • Organise and lead cross-functional team meetings to review supplier performance, discuss challenges, and plan future procurement strategies.
