SEE YOURSELF AS A SUPPLIER RESILIENCE ANALYST

Radian is seeking a skilled Supplier Resilience Analyst to join the Safety, Security, and Resilience department in support of critical supplier resilience risk assessment, analysis, and mitigation as part of a broader supply chain risk management process, and to support business compliance efforts from the business continuity and resilience perspective. The ideal candidate for this role enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced and challenging environment with responsibilities across many related specialty areas, requiring quick adaptation to changing priorities. This role is a 24/7 on-call role working with experienced Business Continuity (BC), Disaster Recovery (DR), Crisis Management, Physical Security (PS), Risk and Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Response professionals. There are no direct reports; however, outsourced contracts or staff may be managed, as requested/required. This role requires travel from 10 to 25%.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Education and Prior Work-Related Experience:
Degree Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
Work Experience: 3 or more years of prior work experience required. 5+ years corporate work experience preferred

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leveraging data analytics or data science approaches in supply chain management, supply chain risk management (SCRM), intelligence, business continuity, compliance/assurance, or a related field required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with a strong preference for degree in data science, risk, business continuity or a related business or discipline.
  • Strong familiarity/understanding of supply chain and resilience concepts to align data science techniques with business interruption-related supply chain risk challenges is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and convey technical findings, nuance, and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong to mastery Microsoft Excel and Access skills necessary.
  • Continuous learning mindset and a passion for exploring new techniques to enhance critical supplier risk assessment and mitigation capabilities.
  • Strong ability to multitask, collaborate and work virtually, and maintain a positive and helpful attitude is required.
  • Familiarity with SOC2, SOX, audit, and/or due diligence/industry compliance standards in the financial, insurance, or fin-tech industries preferred.
  • Knowledge of innovative technologies, ethical AI, automation, project management, process improvement preferred.
  • Preferences for: Certified or Associate Business Continuity Professional, Risk Professional, and Regulatory, Vendor Management, Emergency Management, Operational Resilience, and Six Sigma certifications (ABCP, CBCP, CRVPM, CVMP, CPSM, MBCP, ARMP, CRMP, CEM, ORCP, ORCS, ORCE, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Critical Supply Chain Assessment:

This position is crucial for assessing risks associated with enterprise use of critical suppliers and supplier resilience, informing business decisions and enterprise risk processes, and enhancing the resilience of critical supply chains through data science and risk management methodologies.

  • Work with subject matter experts to identify critical suppliers/dependencies, coordinate and propose process standards relative to supplier resilience, physical security, and disaster recovery.
  • Conduct/Analyze thorough critical supplier assessments, recommend robust resilience provisions in supplier contracts, and propose strategies to fortify dependencies and improve Radian’s ability to effectively identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of potential and existing suppliers to evaluate their resilience and provide risk opinions aligned with standards and corporate requirements
  1. Analysis:

The role will engage in various activities that support the enterprise resilience, disaster recovery, and risk management capabilities, focusing on integrating risk data from multiple sources to inform methodologies for both internal and supplier assessment processes.

  • Identify vulnerabilities and threats within the Organization’s critical supply chains (third-parties, products, SaaS providers, transactional partners, etc.) using a strong understanding of supply chain and business continuity concepts and the ability to apply data analytics.
  • Serve as a key consultant for critical supply chain resilience and activities and as the subject matter expert for resilience assessment of critical suppliers.
  • Utilize tools and techniques to gather, analyze, and interpret data for risk analysis, risk opinions, and reporting, ensuring that the outputs meet the needs of various stakeholders and can inform business and program decisions.
  • Convey technical findings and nuances through written reports, Q&A, and oral presentations using technical skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • Work closely with Vendor Management, Business Compliance, and other teams to coordinate the flow and retention of data to all stakeholders.
  • May be involved in designing, building, and testing user interface components for data collection, automation, and navigation, ensuring that user requirements are met.
  1. Compliance Assurance:

This position involves business compliance reporting, responding to external inquiries, and managing a consolidated response catalog for consistency and alignment with changing resilience program standards and compliance expectations.

  • Provide operational support and coordination across business continuity, physical security, and employee safety for coordinating and confirming compliance responses.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members supporting business continuity, physical security, and employee safety, along with broader teams supporting facilities, information security, procurement and vendor management, information technology, business compliance, legal, and other functions.
  1. Other:
  • Foster relationships with internal partners to enhance risk analysis and information sharing.
  • Critically review processes for quality and efficiency improvement opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
