Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Due to the exciting growth at SOSU, we are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Supply & Demand Manager to lead end-to-end demand forecasting and supply planning for our cosmetics portfolio. You will play a critical role in aligning inventory with market demand, driving cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product Development to ensure product availability, minimise stockouts, and optimise inventory levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive improvements in forecast accuracy within the Procurement and Supply Chain function, supporting the implementation and optimisation of planning tools and processes as part of the internal S&OP framework.
  • Strategically source and procure all goods—including delivered products and office supplies—in alignment with supply chain timelines, cost targets, and business requirements.
  • Review and manage acquisition costs to ensure the most cost-effective purchasing decisions, balancing quality, supplier reliability, and urgency of need; complete and process purchase orders in the company’s procurement system.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels across domestic and international distribution centers, ensuring alignment with demand and service level goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the Buying team to manage all logistics-related activities, including shipment coordination, freight management, and inventory control.
  • Identify and negotiate best-value logistics solutions across freight, 3PL, and outsourced packing providers.
  • Continuously assess and optimise transportation costs and delivery timelines to improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Lead supplier and customer negotiations to support business growth and commercial objectives.
  • Oversee logistics planning activities to secure the most favorable net landed costs while meeting delivery requirements.
  • Analyse daily and weekly performance reports, including service levels and inventory turnover, and implement adjustments as needed to ensure operational excellence.
  • Coordinate seasonal warehouse operations and product pack-outs to support promotional and peak periods efficiently.
