EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 3-5 years Demand & Supply planning experience, ideally within the FMCG industry
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel skills (Pivot table, Vlook Up, etc)
  • Experience in forecasting and replenishment processes and systems (SAP APO, PowerBI)
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work well autonomously
  • Strong communication and influential skills
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and excellent business partnering skills
  • Collaborative, team player, committed, pragmatic, resourceful and customer oriented

Responsibilities:

  • Update our forecast Tool (Exceedra) with the most updated data for the next 18-24 months
  • In charge of building a strong relationship with our brand partner to alert them of any changes in demand & ensure timely supply
  • Manage the weekly planning process by reviewing orders based on projected orders from Coles & Woolworths, opening stock, stock in transit & lead-time
  • Ensure inventory is correctly maintained at each warehouse based on safety stock levels target
  • Maintain an accurate forecast using inputs from the Sales, Marketing & Brand partner to support the monthly demand
  • Provide clear communication between our Sales, Finance & VRP Team about any risk of OOS, NPD or risk of deletions
  • Anticipate & evaluate risk of out of stock and communicate pro-actively both to our Sales/ Brand Partner team but also to our VRP’s
  • Manage your business waste risk (slow movers, Best Before date risk)
