Hunter & Co. Transport is seeking an experienced Supply and Distribution Manager for a full-time, ongoing role. The position requires 38 hours per week and is based in Matraville (near Port Botany area), NSW.

We are a leading logistics, storage and installation of high-end designer furniture, renowned for exceptional attention to detail, timely delivery, and a seamless customer experience.

The Supply and Distribution manager will be responsible for the following duties:

• Control and regularly review and check warehouse storage and inventory management systems to ensure supply requirements are met and stock levels remain under control.
• Maintain accurate inventory and tracking systems to monitor the movement of goods and orders, ensuring timely replenishment when required.
• Develop, implement and oversee purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and operational plans.
• Create and enforce inventory plans to maintain appropriate stock levels while minimising storage and holding costs.
• Coordinate with internal departments and customers to understand outbound goods requirements and associated transportation arrangements.
• Negotiate and manage supplier agreements to achieve the required quality, pricing and delivery standards.
• Oversee the accurate recording and administration of purchasing, storage, inventory and distribution activities.
• Coordinate and supervise warehouse and distribution staff, including allocating responsibilities and constantly monitor their individual and team performance.
• Ensure products and services are provided in accordance with customer requirements, operational needs and agreed service standards.

The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications and work experience:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in similar roles in Logistics.

Job Type: Full-time.

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 7am until 3pm.

Work requirement: The applicant must have a valid visa which allows to work full time.
