Description:

Yashili NZ Dairy Company Ltd is a state-of-the-art Infant Formula Powder and nutritional powder processing as well as a consumer packing can-filling facility in Pokeno. ingredients are blended and dried to manufacture high-specification products. Our capacity is in place to manufacture around 60,000 tonnes per annum. Our processes are unique and diverse and we are not your run of the mill standard milk powder processing plant.
We now looking for a professional supply chain manager to join our busy team. Your main duties will be planing, organising, directing, controling and coordinating the supply, storage and distribution of the milk products.
Minimum Qualification and work experience requirement: Relevant bachelor or higher qualification in logistics,shipping or transport management, or any other relevant area.

As the Supply and Distribution Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient flow of materials and products throughout our dairy processing plant. You will be responsible for managing the supply chain, coordinating with suppliers, optimizing distribution channels, and ensuring timely
delivery of infant formula products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Management: - Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain, ensuring efficient procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and other necessary supplies. - Maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to
ensure quality and timely delivery. - Forecast demand and inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
Planning and Scheduling: - Collaborate with function managers, stakeholders, and customers to develop outwards goods and associated forward transportation schedules that align with demand forecasts and inventory levels. - Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely availability of materials and resources for production. - Manage the documentation of purchase, storage and distribution transactions
Distribution Optimization: - Develop and implement distribution strategies, policies and plans to optimize transportation routes, minimize costs, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers. - Monitor distribution channels and logistics operations to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
Quality Control and Regulatory Compliance: - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for food safety, quality, and sanitation throughout the supply chain and distribution process. - Implement quality control measures to maintain product integrity and safety during transportation and storage.
Team Leadership and Development: - Lead a team of supply chain and distribution professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and productivity. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the supply chain
and distribution teams.
