YOUR OPPORTUNITY We have an exciting Supply Associate opportunity in our processing facility. The Supply Associate will be responsible for storing, maintaining an inventory and distributing mechanical equipment, parts and supplies for a pork harvest facility processing over 21,000 animals per day. This position supports maintenance and engineering teams of over 120 technicians operating twenty-four hours per day, seven days a week.    ABOUT US At Seaboard Foods, we create the most sought-after pork. More than 5,400 employees in five states work on our farms, feed mills, and processing plant to produce Prairie Fresh® pork, ensuring the well-being of our animals, the environment, our employees, and the communities we call home. We are a Fortune 500 employer, recently nominated by the Business Journal as one of the “Best Places to Work”, representing our dynamic culture, where our employees can contribute and understand why they matter.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Receives, stores and issues mechanical parts/PPE/supplies according to operational needs * Assists with monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of supplies * Ability to interact and maintain positive rapport with a diverse workforce * Performs data entry, clerical tasks and administrative paperwork to ensure department maintains a high level of accountability for inventory * Inspects, checks and verifies incoming supplies are in good condition and meet quality specifications * Communicates effectively and collaborates with department leadership to ensure the position provides a high level of customer service * Adheres to all Company food and workplace safety policies to safeguard the workplace and welling being of all employees  CRITICAL COMPETENCIES instills trust, communicates effectively, action oriented, accepts accountability, and collaborates with others. Customer Focus Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS * Minimum high school diploma or GED. Some college or vocational courses preferred * Experience with Microsoft Office suite, advance Excel skills or similar application and MRP system experience preferred * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, English required, bi-lingual a plus.  WORK ENVIRONMENT:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to wet, cold and/or humid conditions. Consistently working in an environment ranging from +35 to -20 degrees.
